Khalil Charif é artista, nascido no Rio de Janeiro. No final dos anos 90, estudou na Parsons School e New York University. Mais tarde, frequentou a Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage, e obteve Especialização em História da Arte na PUC-Rio (com estudos posteriores em Arte-Filosofia). Foi um dos contemplados com os prêmios: “Prêmio Interações Florestais 2011” (Brasil), “ExperimentoBIO 2013” (Espanha), Prêmio Especial "Art Nova 100" em "Arte Laguna Prize 2017" (Itália). Entre suas exposições estão: "Triennale of Contemporary Art”, Rep. Tcheca, 2008; "Dublin Biennial", Irlanda, 2014; "XIX Bienal de Cerveira", Portugal, 2017; "BIENALSUR", Argentina, 2019.
