documenta 12 has three guiding lines that, not be coincidence, take the form of major questionings. “Is Modernity our Antiquity?”, “What’s bare life?” and “What can be done?” are the axles proposed by the curators of the exhibition to align the different productions around a concept. These are, as well, the themes that guide the essays, debates and works of 12 magazines and that anticipate the reflection around the exhibition.
