The exhibition consists of a set of nine large vibrant paintings, in which the artist creates realities inclined to the absurd, mixing enigmatic characters and funds of intense colors. The references of Strodes are based on pop culture: the paintings of streets, the culture of skate and the Californian surf, the Rock, movies and comics magazines, culminating in an aesthetic that refers to the North America neo-expressionism of the 1980s. The strength and visual pleasure of his works come from the strange combinations which the artist creates on the same screen.
