Paulo Whitaker - A ressignificação da forma dessignificada

Organized by Ricardo Kugelmas, the exhibition brings together a set of 8 large-format oil paintings accompanied by a smaller group, elaborated during a residency at Art Farm Project, in São Paulo, in October 2019, that revisit a research conducted by the artist around the relation between painting and drawing. Whitaker's work has made a unique contribution to the Brazilian art scene, through a markedly dynamic process of experimentation since the 1980s.
